Using paint i'm having problems with transparency around the picture...

I make this decal of the "licence plate" of the DMC of BTTF-1 on the paint, but I could not leave the borders transparent, had to paint it on black color and it leaves black marks around the aplication place

you can't make transparent pictures with paint...

you have to use photoshop, gimp or any simmilar program

i'm using the Linux Kolour Paint

Do you have any 'simple' tip to apply 'high-quality' decals in the cars?? I like the way that yours decals are showed. ^^ Do you use the edit the saved paintjob method?

Yes i am.
I paint the car
Save the paint job
Go to to the save > skins
Rename the job to jpg, with Joe
Open them in GIMP
Scale everything to 2048x2048
Open them in Joe again
Delete the JPG and NAME
And then i copy them and paste them in the save>skins

Hope u understand, it difficult to explain for me haha

Yes! I'm already know this tip, but in different (and more complicated) steps.
I believe that with GIMP the work stay more simple.

Fiz um Enula(é enula mesmo né? smepre erro no nome dos carros do slrr) ao estilo racing(eu dei uma mudada nele, agora ta preto com as saias azul claro, rodas azuis, ao maisor estilo "black ice"-musiquinha de 8 mim que num me canso de ouvir XD)







até botei AA pra ver se ficava bunito, vo tira mais fotinhos depois(ele ta com 620 hp acho, mais um kit circuit, ta muito bom de dirigir)

caraca terrazi , quem dera eu ter placa de video viu...

minha placa é quase igual a tua hauhahhuaa, eu taquei AA só pras screens mesmo, nem mechi em nada (é claro que rodei de dia com 15 fps), realmnete, AA faz uma diferença enorme já

PS: Fiz um otro muito manerinho aqui, tá mó comedia, amanha eu posto screens pq eu tos ainda daqui a poko
