Tutorial for better screenshots
Ok, i don't know if i am right here, otherwise, place it in the right topic please.
Here is a small tut, i wrote this on an other forum too, for making better screenshots.
I hope it will help you.
Better graphics:
If one of you have a Nvidia Graphic card, and you want som better AA (anti-alising or w/e)
You can download this.
nHancer for Nvidia
It makes the quality of the games much better, and its gives a good qualiti picture for posts in the Show Your Rides room.
You have to add the game to nHancer (find the executebles)
In the beginning you have to try different settings, only change the AA, the rest has no sense.
Don't make it too high, otherwise the game crashes.
How i, Mike a.k.a. Dopey, makes my screenshots:
Well, this is not really a tut.
This is how i do it, the way to make better shots.
When your car is in game and on the track,
* press "tab" this removes the gauges and stuff
* pause the game with number three (3) on your keybord (the one above the "W" & "E" )
* zoom in or out with your mouse, turn around the car with your mouse when you think you have the best position.
* [color=red]Warning! don't go to close to the car with zooming, take a bit distance[color=red]
* when you have got the right position, press "F2" now it zooms in perfectly
* press "F12"
* now you saved your screen
* go to your folder (activision/streetlegal etc etc) and search for the map "screenshots"
* There you must find the pic that you see, and (but that i dont know for sure) its is in TGA file, convert it to PNG
* and now you have a good quality picture

Re: Tutorial for better screenshots
So, one more tip.
Try to adjust your screen ratio to 1:1.
Why?
Think it: A flat pc screen have two coordinates (Flat screens are no 3D Screens, Flat like a conventional CRT or LCD) the X and the Y.
If you are running on 640x480 you have the ratio of 4:3, right?
watch:
640/4 = 160
160*3 = 480
so each X pixel you will have a 75% of Y pixel. This is equal a quality loss.
The best aspect ratio is 1:1 each X Pixel a one Y Pixel.
Yesterday at night i tried a uncommon resolution of 1280x1280x32 and it was marvelous. so remenber i use a piece of crap PC.
But the stronger problem are the limits of screens, some screen only can do 1024x768 or something like that (my screen only can do 1152x864).
when i know that problem i tried too run SLRR on a windowed mode with the uncommon resolution, and: That works Fine on my shit PC. run sligthy and smooth. i liked it. my first shot of this was the Beetle with large Gembala wheels on Nurburgring at night. but all peeps know, on last days I have some problems with internet conexion and others, and I have no choice to post anything, on these moment I'm conected to forum with a lesser than 128Kbps on a INTRANET connexion
sorry about my poor english

Guys. / Caras

PT-BR: Eu praticamente a achei perfeita. Alguem gostou??
EN-US: I Liked it, perfectly for me (but Dopey's screen are so much better)
